A lack of tropical activity in the Gulf of Mexico and weakening summer demand as autumn approaches continues to put downward pressure on gas futures prices. Based on Thursday’s slippage and reduced demand over a long holiday weekend, October gas appears poised to test the $3.70s or lower on Friday. (Thursday, Sep. 2, 2010)
